It is with great pride that the members of the jury of Aventure Écotourisme Québec (AEQ) and the Parcs régionaux du Québec unveiled on October 7, the names of the finalists for the Outdoors Excellence Awards 2021.
The Outdoors Excellence Awards
The "Excellence Plein Air" awards are intended to highlight the development, perseverance, expertise, and success of Quebec's regional parks and businesses specializing in adventure and ecotourism.
These Excellence Awards recognize the many efforts of nature tourism stakeholders - organizations, managers, employees, and partners - who contribute to providing unforgettable moments for all visitors while promoting Quebec as an outdoor destination of international calibre.
Application
A total of 33 entries (32% increase in entries were received for any of the seven categories: Quality Product and Service, Environmental Best Practices, Volunteer Management Best Practices, Crisis Innovation, HR Best Practices, Regional Outreach, and Partner.

Following an in-depth analysis, a jury composed of 5 volunteers with varied expertise in the field of outdoor activities:

Award Ceremony
The Outdoors Excellence Awards will be presented in person at the gala evening on November 3, 2021, during the Aventure Écotourisme Québec and Parcs régionaux du Québec Congress, which will be held at the Delta Hotels, Mont Sainte-Anne, Resort & Convention Center in Beaupré.
