The Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course is based on the principle of evidence-based medicine and focuses on effectiveness through a pragmatic approach. Based on the concept of the famous ATLS course for physicians, the PHTLS will allow you to improve your ability to assess the severity of a patient's condition through its original teaching approach.
The objective of the training is to orient you towards a systematized evaluation of the traumatized patient so that you are able to manage priorities according to the principle of "Treat first what kills first". 

This training program, which is revised every four years, has become a standard recognized worldwide by all pre-hospital responders. With a solid international structure, more than 800,000 pre-hospital responders have been trained over the past 30 years in more than 50 countries.

• Explain the origins and basis of the PHTLS.

• Take into account the different aspects of the evaluation of the scene

• Describe the different phases of the XABCDE assessment

• Learn and master the technical gestures according to the skills held

Pedagogic device 

The training course is an alternation of theoretical and practical courses. Scenarios from real-life situations are carried out outside and inside buildings. These scenarios allow learners to implement new knowledge on this type of situation while preserving their job.

*COVID's cancellation policy:

If you cancel due to a problem with COVID-19:

If at any time you are unable to start or complete a course due to COVID-related issues, we will provide you with a credit for the course to use within 12 months.

**Cancellation of a course by SIRIUSMEDx:

SIRIUSMEDx reserves the right to cancel a course if it does not reach the minimum number of participants required. If SIRIUSMEDx cancels a course due to insufficient participants, SIRIUSMEDx will refund the full amount of the course or transfer it to another available date.

***Usual cancellation policy:

1. If you cancel a class 30+ days prior to the start of the class, the full amount of the class will be refunded.

2. If you cancel a course between 15 and 29 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded 50% of the fees paid.Or We will transfer the program to another available date (valid for 1 year + $25 administration fee).

3. If you cancel a class 14 days or less before the class start date, there are NO refunds.Or we will transfer the program to another available date (valid for 1 year + $45 administration fee).
